Projet Ego: December 2024 – March 2025 Recap

What’s happened since my last update? [Link to 2024 and 2023 booklog]

1. The Rocky Launch of Projet Ego: RPG

On December 15, 2024—exactly two years after Projet Ego: Erika’s release—we launched Projet Ego: RPG. The first live stream was a disaster due to major connection issues, but over the three-day event, things improved steadily.

As a silver lining, I’m sharing [here] the Sunday stream (in French), which focused on Projet Ego: Docu. Guests included contributors to the game and some of the writers behind its 66 Questions. The debates were lively, opinions clashed, and it was a lot of fun—a perfect snapshot of the project’s spirit.

2. Projet Ego: Docu: An Evolving Experience

Since January, this hybrid discussion/documentary game has grown with monthly updates: new interviewees (15 so far), unfolding storylines, and deep dives into topics like sexuality, relationships, dating, and love. It’s a slow burn, but the pieces are coming together.

3. Behind the Scenes: Preparing Projet Ego: Next

The next major title in the series is in early development, but I’m staying quiet until there’s more to show. Every euro from current sales is being set aside for its budget—though money alone won’t make it great. The real challenge? Leveling up my skills (design, narrative, tech) to deliver something truly special.

4. Community & Sales: Less Alone Than Ever

Promotion isn’t my favorite part, but it’s necessary. I’m learning the ropes before outsourcing it. The upside? The community is growing, and a dedicated core is forming. Thanks to everyone following along—this journey feels less lonely because of you.
